Leslie Football Players and Families

Prospective Leslie football players and families,

Football Pre-Season Camp will be happening August 22-24 2:00pm – 4:00pm at Leslie. Students will be meeting in the team room behind the school for gear fitting and then going down to the field for some practice.  Athletes will need to sign up on Familyid.com and bring water.

Football season officially begins Monday August 28th. For the week of August 28th, we will practice Monday-Thursday from 2:00-4:00.  The following week of September 5th, we will start our normal practice routine Monday through Friday from 4:15-6:00.  Practice is mandatory and if missed could affect playing time.

All participants must have completed registration on familyid.com and have a Sports Physical on file with Leslie middle school (ZoomCare, urgent care often take same day appointments.)

Football participants are encouraged to bring their own water bottle to practice as there is no water source at the field.  Transportation to and from games are provided, but players must arrange their own transportation home from Leslie after practice.  Athletes need to be off campus by 6:15 as there will be no adult supervision after that time.  All gear is provided, we even have some cleats.  The first couple of weeks are used for evaluations to form the Varsity and JV teams, so it is important that you show up and give your best effort each practice.  Once game schedules are available, they will be posted on our Google calendar on our school website.
