About the Parent/Student Handbook

The information presented in this handbook is intended to provide students, families, and community members with the policies and procedures of the Salem-Keizer School District and Leslie Middle School.

Please take the time to review the contents of the handbook. It is full of information that will hopefully answer many of the questions you may have. Students are responsible for knowing the contents of this handbook as it will be used by staff members as a guide to next steps when policies are not followed.

All information in this handbook is subject to change as policies are updated and improved. Updates will be noted in the handbook along with the date of the change so that readers can easily follow changes. 

Some sections of the handbook may be missing as we prepare for the 2025-26 school year. Please check back once school has started to see all updates.
