This is a bilingual (English/Spanish) and accessible free family nature event. There will be field stations that will pop-up in local parks and community spaces throughout the month of March and throughout the Mid-Willamette Valley. At the Field Stations there will be activities such as: water and wildlife hands-on nature activities, take home activity kits, pond studies and community science dragonfly research, a science experiment that finds wildlife EDNA in water, live bird sessions, a newt obstacle course and more.
All the dates and locations for the field stations are provided on our flyer through a QR code. This QR code takes one to our website, www.winterwildlifefielddays.org, that has a calendar and the address for the events. On the website there will also be other materials such as activities, our nature explorer guide and more detailed information on our partners.
